Greetings from the edge,

I had to be an actual adult today and focus on the computer repair side of my life. I’m currently in talks with OSAM Websites about taking over the running of Yell from my site, Rob the computer guy. Essentially, it means I regain ownership of the business site and, in the long run, pay less.

That’s the plan, anyway.

I still managed to do a bit of writing, though not as much as I would have liked because that annoying thing called the real world kept barging in. I added another couple of entries to my article, wrote up a synopsis for my next story, and did a mountain of reading.

I’m almost finished with both Misery and The Silence of the Lambs, to the point where I’m ready to start drafting an article comparing the book and film versions of The Silence of the Lambs.

I’m also still building up enough karma to get Part Two of The Bone Garden critiqued. I’m hopeful the SPAG side of things is mostly under control now. After all, Cormac McCarthy barely used quotation marks, let alone commas, and his work is legendary.

I suppose what I’m saying is that my writing is not yet good enough to ignore the basic rules of grammar and punctuation.

Yet.

Part of my problem at the moment is that I’m butterflying between projects, never quite finishing one thing before drifting towards the next. I need to work on that so I can become a little more consistent.

See you in the margins,
