Greetings from the edge,
Still working hard on getting the site live. I’ve almost got The Chop Shop completely migrated over, and I’ve got a couple of new article ideas in the pipe.
One of the things I’m trying as an experiment is a new recurring segment called Brutally Brief, where I take a horror franchise and sum it up in fewer than 300 words. Think Drunk History meets Shudder.
I’ve also had another idea: doing side-by-side reviews of a horror novel and its cinematic counterpart, looking to answer the age-old question of which is better, the book or the film. There are a ton I could cover, and it will give me a fine excuse to read more, which as an avid bibliophile is always welcome.
I’ve finally received my copy of Alien: The RPG, which is a big deal. It took about two months to arrive. I’m really looking forward to reading it and running it with my trusty Sunday group. I’ll probably write a review for Crying is a Free Action once I’ve had a chance to get a feel for it.

Also sitting on my TBR pile is Curse of Strahd. My Sunday group are very keen to play it, so that’s likely to be my next big project. I’ll post a review once I’ve read it, so expect that in the next couple of weeks.
As soon as things calm down here in the broom cupboard, I’ll start posting more substantial blog entries. For now, I’m mostly slapping the keyboard until I get the articles migrated over.
See you in the margins,
