Greetings from the edge,
I’m getting deeper into Curse of Strahd, and I have to say, it’s already proving to be an absolute gold mine. I can see why it’s regarded as a classic. It’s a lot, but it’s a well-written lot, and that makes it feel less like a slog and more like a long road trip into a deadly land with a competent guide who knows exactly what will kill you, and where to buy the good ale.
I’ve also had some really useful feedback on The Bone Garden, and one thing has become painfully clear: I need to work harder on my proofreading. There were a few boneheaded mistakes with tense and the odd grammar wobble, but structurally it seems solid, which is encouraging.
I’ll probably hit Reddit or look for beta readers elsewhere. At this point, I’m not ruling out hostage-taking.
That flash in my rear-view mirror is the deadline for Recovered Tapes You Shouldn’t Watch Alone getting further and further away.
I’m still working on getting the SEO side of the site sorted. It’s a lot of work and, to be completely honest, I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, but it’s fun finding out.
See you in the margins,
