Greetings from the edge,

I took the day off from site management so I could actually get some writing done. I now have a new article live on Crying is a Free Action, exploring the use of sound and the occasional silence at the gaming table.

Other than that, I’ve been enjoying the day. Hooked up to an IV drip of tea and still locked in a running battle with IONOS to get the SEO sorted. To anyone planning on setting up a site with them, I’d recommend avoiding the technical team if at all possible. They communicate exclusively in corporate-ese, never take ownership of an issue, rarely speak to each other, and have a remarkable talent for talking over you.

Right, I’m off back to my cosy little book nook. Mr King has gotten that poor hapless Mr Sheldon into quite the predicament, and I’m keen to see how he gets out of it. What started as a half-formed idea, reviewing horror novels alongside their cinematic counterparts, is beginning to take shape. I’ll probably start with Misery or The Shining. I unabashedly love both the books and the films.

Oh, and at some point, I need to take a batch of photos of dice and assorted roleplay ephemera.

See you in the margins,
