Greetings from the edge,
Holy shit, you guys, I have been really busy. I’m working on a side project that has got somewhat out of hand, and it’s all got a bit… metaphysical.
It started with an idea: just write a Call of Cthulhu investigation and publish it online. But the project soon ballooned and mutated, and before I knew it, I was looking at a trilogy and quite possibly more than that.
I’m jotting down ideas as I have them, and soon, probably next month, I should have my first fully written, play-tested, and self-published CoC investigation.
All of which means I’m now putting together a home for these TTRPG publishing endeavours, so look out for The Crooked Quill Games, coming soon!
I have also been pleasantly busy over on the repairs side, and with a bit of luck, that will continue.
I’m also working on a new article for The Chop Shop, comparing the book and film versions of The Exorcist. But I’ll be honest, I’m kinda stalling on this one, mostly because the film and the book are virtually identical, so I might kick this one to the kerb. After all, the last thing the internet needs is another article basically saying how good The Exorcist is.
I’m also trying to sketch out a short story about a vegetarian chef who gets bitten in the early days of a zombie apocalypse. The story follows the chef, Lilly Green, as she slowly succumbs to the desire to eat meat, then raw meat, and finally craves warm flesh.
So, pretty much, I’m keeping busy. Apparently, hobbies are no longer sufficient, and I have decided to manufacture additional jobs for myself.
See you in the margins
